Chicago Chapter's next meeting is August 30th at Nookies Edgewater Restaurant.Please come to meet and hear Ms. Judith Jakaitis and Ms. Joan McEachern, both members, who went on the AWIU Delegation to the Balkan countries.
JULY 24
Chicago Chapter's next meeting is JULY 24th, and includes a tour of the Illinois Holocaust Museum. A lunch presentation will be held afterwards at a nearby restaurant.
JUNE 27
Chicago Chicago Chapter's Meeting with Prof. Jessica Winegar as the speaker on the Role of Women in the 'Arab Spring' uprising in Cairo, Egypt went well. See their chapter page for the full report.

Chicago WorldChicago, in partnership with American Women for International Understanding - Chicago Chapter, will host a public forum entitled "STEM (Science, technology, engineering and mathematics): the Status of Women in these Fields" from 8:30 to 9:30 am in the Chicago Cultural Center.
