We want to take advantage of our new Partnerships with the 2012 Brazilian International Women of Courage awardee from Rio Pricilla de Oliveira Azevedo and our new AWIU Partnership Grant to the Global Press Institute for a bureau in Recife Brazil. The grant also supports bureaus in Chile and Argentina.

2014 DELEGATION BRAZIL AND PARAGUAY
Using two anchor cities--Sao Paolo, Brazil and Asuncion, Paraguay--the delegation will explore women's opportunities and issues. See the State Department's notes on Paraguay Here
In Brazil the focus will be the new economy and ecology.

Follow AWIU activities REGISTER:
JULY 12 US State Department signs important joint declaration with Brazil. This new initative will be integrated into the delegation program.
Delegates will meet with diplomats, political leaders, social service organizations, universities and cultural organizations. More information on the Chapter Blog.
