Lian Dolan is a writer, speaker and producer. She is the author of five bestselling novels, including her latest, The Marriage Sabbatical. She has written regular columns for Pasadena Magazine, O Magazine and Working Mother Magazine and has sold a television pilot to Nickelodeon. She was the creator, producer and host of Satellite Sisters, the award-winning talk show she created with her four real sisters. Satellite Sisters ran from 2001 to 2023, garnered 13 Gracie Allen Awards for Excellence in Women’s Media and became a pioneering podcast for women. She started her career at Nike as Writer and Producer in their film and live events department. She has spoken to dozens of organizations across the country in support of her work with the goal of lifting the voices of all women. She has been an AWIU member since 2015, serving on and chairing the Communications Committee and serving on the IWOC Committee. Lian co-produced the IWOC Celebration for 7 years. Lian graduated from Pomona College with a degree in Classics. She lives in Pasadena, California with her husband, Berick Treidler. She has two adult sons and a senior German shepherd.
