Eunice Reddick 

Ambassador (retired) Eunice Reddick is an AWIU vice-president, co-chair of the Washington Chapter, and co-chair of COIR 2025.  She also holds Board of Director positions with Association of Black American Ambassadors, American Academy for Diplomacy, and Helen Keller International. During her more than 30 years in the U.S. Foreign Service, Eunice’s regional experience in Africa and Asia included ambassador appointments to Niger, Gabon and São Tomé and Príncipe. She was chief of the political section at the American Institute in Taiwan, Taipei office, and a political officer at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing. In the State Department, Eunice served as director of the offices of East African and West African affairs in the Bureau of African Affairs; and director of the Office of Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore Affairs and deputy director of the Office of Burma, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam Affairs in the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs. Eunice also was deputy director of the Office of International Development Assistance in the Bureau of International Organization Affairs. She received a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International Affairs, and a B.A. in history and literature from New York University.
