Hanh Dao is a senior vice president at Capital Group, serving as a national accounts manager and head of strategic partnership programs team. She is responsible for firm coverage of emerging independent broker dealers, regional banks and insurance firms and leads efforts to develop custom programs and solutions for all covered firms. She has 23 years of industry experience, all with Capital Group. Earlier in her career at Capital, Hanh held various management roles, including digital, mutual fund and retirement product management and senior strategy and program manager with various business, technology and service teams. She holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a bachelor’s degree in economics and international relations from Smith College.
Hanh has been passionate about philanthropy for over two decades, serving on various boards focusing on mentorship and youth programs at Women and Youth Supporting Each Other (WYSE) and SPARK LA. She developed her love for international affairs while participating in Model UN in high school and in college. At Capital, she is actively involved in Capital Group communities that support and mentor diverse associates. Born in Vietnam after the war, she and her family immigrated to the US in 1983 and settled in Orange County, CA. She studied abroad in Madrid, Spain and enjoys traveling with friends and family. She now lives in Fullerton, CA with her husband and twin children.
