Khairul (Carol) Hotaki has joined the Los Angeles Chapter of AWIU through sponsor Margaret Huebner. As Director of Private Banking at Ascent Private Capital Management of U.S. Bank, located in Newport Beach, California, Khairul is responsible for developing, managing, and retaining the relationships of ultra-high net-worth clients. She also focuses on fiduciary, finance, advisory, investments, and private banking services.
After earning B.S. and B.A. degrees from UC Irvine in International Studies and Social Sciences, Khairul began her career in the banking and financial services industry in 1995. About AWIU, she says, “I want to enhance women’s lives, share ideas, collaborate and assist as needed.” Khairul has over two decades of service as a volunteer and board member for homeless, orphan, youth, and educational nonprofit organizations that empower women and children and advocate for education. She is a board member in four community organizations: Families Forward, Hope in Life Foundation, WisePlace, and Sana Orphanage. For AWIU, she is interested in the Development and Passports to the Future programs.
The English, Pashto, Farsi, Hindi, and Urdu-speaker has traveled in Europe, East and South Asia, and the United States for pleasure and some charity non-profit work. In addition to travel, Khairul enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with her daughter.
