Award-Winning Journalist and NBC4 News Anchor Lynette Romero to Emcee 17th Annual International Women of Courage Celebration
The Celebration will take place in Los Angeles on March 12, 2024.
American Women for International Understanding (AWIU) is delighted to announce that six-time Emmy Award-winning journalist and news anchor Lynette Romero will emcee the 17th Annual International Women of Courage Celebration in Los Angeles for the third year in a row.
Romero is the co-anchor of the NBC4 morning newscast "Today in LA," airing weekdays from 4 to 7 a.m. A well-known and respected journalist who is beloved by millions of Southern California viewers, Romero has more than three decades of news experience and dozens of awards and accolades from the community. As emcee, Romero will lend her considerable talents to welcoming the 2024 International Women of Courage to the Los Angeles event, while introducing the gala evening’s honorary chair, Billie Jean King, and other notable guests and entertainers. The International Women of Courage are leaders from around the globe as designated annually by the U.S. Department of State.
