Mojgan Nowain, a trailblazer in the intersection of finance and technology, has spent over three decades in wealth and asset management technology and operations. Her journey is a testament to innovation, resilience, and leadership.

After graduating from UCLA Engineering School, Mojgan started her career in a start-up software company providing solutions for Portfolio Accounting, Performance, Trading, and other investment capabilities. She held various leadership roles developing her analytical mind and passion for problem-solving in software design, architecture, implementation and delivery in the financial industry. As a member of the executive team, she was able to expand the company’s business operating model to scale and grow its products, services, and revenue.

Mojgan continued her career through consulting practices, collaborating with global asset and wealth managers. Her expertise became a beacon for those navigating the complexities of technology adoption and investment operations.

As Director of Information Technology at the Capital Group Companies, Mojgan’s impact reverberates across the organization. Her multifaceted roles span the entire spectrum of investment business. Mojgan is currently responsible for the end-to-end technology strategy and solutions for new products and vehicles such as ESG funds, ETF, and SMA.  In addition, her leadership extends to crisis management. Mojgan oversees Capital Group’s Disaster Recovery Program to enhance the company’s technology resiliency and to ensure regulatory compliance changes are met.

Mojgan enjoys yoga, traveling, reading and writing. She is actively engaged in different leadership forums. She is a strong advocate of women and dedicates time mentoring and coaching college students, early career hires, and minorities on how to build their careers.
