Noelle Newton attended the IWOC Celebration in 2017, and since then, has felt a special affinity with AWIU. Newton brings significant financial acumen and expertise to AWIU, having worked in the hedge fund industry through 2014, and since then, as a consultant in the business and finance industry, including serving as an independent director of an offshore hedge fund. Home is Atlanta, Georgia, where Newton is the manager of NEB Advisors LLC, a business and consulting firm. She earned a B.A. in History in 1991 from U.C. Santa Barbara, where her studies focused on Latin America. She’s a beach-walker, a mountain hiker, a tennis player and a traveler, with jaunts to Italy, France and Greece to share those countries with her children. She’s interested in AWIU because “I believe it is possible to create empathy and understanding between people by learning their stories.”
