Pooja Chandra Pama is AWIU’s vice president emeritus, Special Operations, co-chair of the Washington, D.C. Chapter, and COIR. An Indian-born American entrepreneur, Pama has comprehensive international business experience in finance, healthcare, agriculture and real estate. She empowers women and families globally through entrepreneurship. Pama is also passionate about nurturing future global leaders and connecting professionals at the pinnacle of their careers in all the sectors. She provides a platform that brings diverse and highly accomplished leaders and executives together to partner, exchange information, collaborate and mentor the next generation of senior leaders globally. A trusted partner of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, Pama has helped to design and fund programs for its Academy for Women Entrepreneurs through ACE Health Foundation. She is the 2022 recipient of the prestigious “International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge Award,” bestowed upon individuals who have demonstrated their commitment to community or global change through a program or business.
