Assistant Director for Public Service Initiatives, School of Foreign Service Career Center, Georgetown University
Elizabeth Boesen works with undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in internships and jobs in public service. She is also the Program Director for the Paul F. Pelosi Scholars Initiative, and oversees the Career Center’s involvement with the McHenry, Pickering, Rangel, Payne, Powell, Rosenthal and McCain fellowships. Boesen serves as Adjunct Faculty at Georgetown’s Capital Applied Learning Lab (The CALL), as well as the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University. Prior to Georgetown, Boesen had a career in international development and philanthropy, working on three continents and in five countries. She earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Chicago and an M.A. in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland.
